By now everyone will have heard of the Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn, People call it the star of Bethlehem. Well you may of heard that the same astronomical event happens every twenty years so if it usurers in a new Christ we will have had 101 of them by now. But that is not to say that this event is not without great significance on the contrary this conjunction in particular is very important for humanity. The last series of conjunctions occurred in Earth Signs this one marks the beginning of conjunctions in Air Signs. So what is the difference, well Earth Signs are all about security, material possessions, finance and the darker side of raping the Earth, domination an the unfair distribution of resources. I would think most people would recognise that Earth focus in the world during the last 200 years. So what now? What do Air Signs have to offer? Particularly Aquarius where this series starts at 0 degrees, which is a great place to start. We should see the focus shift to more humanitarian issues to global sharing as opposed to the globalisation of exploitation. We should see greater digitalisation in our lives helping us connect, which we have already seen during the pandemic which will linger on. The other happening will be the re-enlivenment of communities. Small communities working together and linking with other communities around the world, freely sharing ideas and compassion. To me this is wonderful news but of course there will be kickbacks from the old guard, the ones who profited the most from the last series and of course there will be darker elements to this series which we must guard against such as data theft and identity fraud, more government control and surveillance. So now we are not going to be suddenly launched in to some utopian vision. It will take courage and persistence, Saturn, but the promise and expansion, Jupiter, are there for the taking. So we must all look for the opportunities and follow them up. This new series will last a long time longer than anyone here now will live. But our role now is so important for the future of further generations. Who will accept the challenge.
